My Favorite Things – 10.19.20

Hi friends!

It’s Monday so that means it’s time for My Favorite Things. Whether it’s a great story I read, my latest audiobook or a favorite new lipstick. I’ll be sharing it all here on Mondays!

You can find last week’s Favorite Things here

Last Friday, I actually took the day off! Something I rarely (if ever) do. I slept in, watched Friends reruns, got an almond croissant and a latte, did some online shopping, took a glorious nap, and picked up tacos from Whole Foods for dinner. Best of all, I stayed in my pajamas all day! It was a great day!

What do you like to do on your days off? I’m trying to plan my days off every week, or every other week because it was such a great time to recharge.

Let’s move on to my favorite things this week!

As the day draws near, I am getting more and more excited about voting! I ordered an absentee ballot this week. Do you have a voting plan? If not, check out this article, there’s links to voting plans.

One of my favorite things we did this past week, was go on a lunch time picnic. Here’s a fun article on packing the best picnic.

Last week, I began French lessons and I’m so excited to exercise my mind in a non-work related way. I found my tutor on this site. You can save 30% off your first lesson using this link!

Hotel Emeline is on my wish list for travel destinations.

Love this list of reasons why you should shop local.

Check out this Etsy shop for some fun picture frames at great prices.

Hot chocolate bombs are really tempting me.

Audiobook Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner

This audiobook was a great, light listen.

These are my favorite bamboo toothbrushes

I ordered this stylus as a sub for the Apple Pencil during the Prime day sale, I’ll let you know how it works.

This has been my go to quick workout.

My family is listening to the first season of this podcast through the end of the year and we’ll discuss in January.

My favorite light, yet somewhat educational, podcast. It’s recorded by two sisters and it seems they’re really enjoying themselves.

I started making these color charts for my styling clients last week. So far, everyone loves them. Let me know if you want to get a color evaluation. Just email me to set it up!

My Favorite Purchases & Pretty Things

Do you have a leather jacket? Last year I bought this suede one and it was too “edgy” for my personal style. Friday I ordered this one, it’s a bit more classic, and I’m excited to get it. Here’s a more budget friendly vegan one. This one is really gorgeous too if you prefer brown (available in other colors XXS-3X)

I love this J.Crew collarless sweater blazer. I placed an order for this cardigan jacket in Old Forest last week (available in 3XS-3X). Such a great layering piece!

This floral linen set is so pretty.

I finally decided on a fall bag, and ordered this Sezane bucket bag. Check out this article for recs on fall bags.

Tuckernuck Shirt Dress

How perfect is this shirt dress! Venita looks great in it. Available in XXS-XXXL
